Bagztagz was created to protect your bags in everyday life and on your travels—without exposing your personal details. Each tag uses a secure QR code that can be scanned if your bag is found, linking directly to our found‑bag report form. This allows the finder to submit the details safely, and enables us to contact you privately.
If the finder prefers not to use the form, they can call the Bagztagz team using the clearly displayed phone number on the tag, and we’ll take the report over the phone.
Designed for luggage, backpacks, school bags and kit bags, Bagztagz makes it simple to link bags to you or your family—helping lost items get back to the right person quickly. Created in the UK, our focus is on practical, secure products that help your belongings find their way home.
My Story
I built Bagztagz from the ground up with one clear goal: to help people protect their luggage without exposing their personal details.
After three years working in aviation—most recently in baggage tracing at Heathrow—I’ve seen first-hand how difficult it can be to reunite a bag with its owner when there’s no reliable identification. Paper tags tear off, families get separated during busy trips, and bags often arrive with no usable details at all. When that happens, even the best systems struggle.
That’s why I created Bagztagz: a secure QR luggage tag paired with an internal ID card, designed to give every bag a clear, private, and airport‑recognised identity. If a bag is found, the QR code links directly to our secure found‑bag form so the finder can submit details safely. If they prefer to speak to someone, they can call the Bagztagz team using the number printed on the tag, and we’ll take the report over the phone.
Because of my hands-on experience with WorldTracer and airline recovery processes, our team can also guide you through lost‑bag reporting and support you when you need it most.
I also wanted Bagztagz to be affordable. Travellers already invest enough in their suitcases—and what’s inside them—so protecting your belongings shouldn’t come with a premium price tag.
